Assistant Professor (Contractual) job recruitment in Bengal Engineering and Science University
Essential Qualification : I) Candidates for the position must have a Ph.D. degree in applied statistics, operations research, quantitative methods, management science, optimization, Computer Science or a closely related field. The successful candidate will teach predictive analytics and data mining to graduate students. II) Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Industry experience will be desirable. Applicants must have expertise in the various sub-disciplines of supply chain management, and be able to teach effectively at graduate level and publish in top international journals in the area. III) Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in Financial Management from a reputed institute. Preference will be given to candidates with emerging scholarly records and demonstrated teaching expertise with graduate students and executives, and mentoring Ph.D. students. Candidates should have a good publications record in top international journals and also have experience or a willingness to participate in teaching, mentoring, research or service towards building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment. IV) Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in Human Resources from a reputed institute. Preference will be given to candidates with emerging scholarly records and demonstrated teaching expertise with graduate students and executives, and mentoring Ph.D. students. Candidates should have a good publications record in top international journals and also have experience or a willingness to participate in teaching, mentoring, research or service towards building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment. V) Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in Marketing Management from a reputed institute. Preference will be given to candidates with emerging scholarly records and demonstrated teaching expertise with graduate students and executives, and mentoring Ph.D. students. Candidates should have a good publications record in top international journals and also have experience or a willingness to participate in teaching, mentoring, research or service towards building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment.
Experience & Essential : For Assistant Professor (Contractual): 03 years after PhD or 06 years total after obtaining P.G. degree in Educational Institution/Research Organization/Industry. 02 papers in peer reviewed international journals after PhD work.
Desirable Requirements : Sponsored projects completed/ongoing, consultancy, patents, offering significant support to Institute Management.
