Online applications are invited from Indian citizens for engagement of 55th Batch (for Non-ITI & ITI candidates)of Trade Apprentices under the 'Apprentices Act 1961’ in Ordnance & Ordnance Equipment Factories located in different States across India.
Number of Vacancies : 6948 (Trade Apprentices (ITI) – 3621, Trade Apprentices (Non-ITI) – 3327)
Eligibility
For Non-ITI Category : Madhyamik Passed (10th Class or Matric standard or equivalent) with minimum 40% marks in aggregate with 40% marks in each of mathematics & Science.
For ITI Category : Should have passed ITI trade test from any institute recognized by NCVT (SCVT or any other authority specified through Gazette Notification of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship/Ministry of Labour & Employment, with duration as per the Apprentice Act, 1961) and should possess the qualification as on the last date of online application.
Age Limit : Between 14 to 22 years as on the last date of submission of online application. Age Relaxation:- SC/ST: 5 years, for OBC: 3 years, for Physically Handicapped (PH) / Physically Challenged (PC): 10 years.
