Hiring Process : Written-test, Face to Face Interview
Ph.D. courses at University of Science & Technology(USTM), during the academic session 2015-16
Eligibility : A candidate intending to enroll him/ her for the Ph.D degree shall have, in addition to clearance of the Entrance Test, A. Master Degree in Engineering with at least 60% marks; B. Bachelor Degree in Engineering with at least 70 % marks C. Master Degree in Arts and Science with at least 55% marks.
Award of Ph. D Degree: On receipt of the anonymous recommendations from all the three examiners the award of Ph. D degree to the student will be processed.
Admission: Admission will be based on the entrance Test & personal interview.

How to apply
Application form along with prospectus from the Administrative Office of university campus at 9th Mile, Kling Road ( Opposite CRPF Gate No. 2), Baridua and City office at ERDF Bhawan, Sijubari Road, Guwahati-780038. The cost of the form & prospectus Rs 1500/ for Ph.D.
The Complete filled up Application form along with self attested Xerox copy of all academic documents can be submitted to the Administrative office of the University at 9th Mile, Baridua or city office “ERD Foundation” located at Sijubari Road, Guwahati-780038.
Last Date of submission of Application Form: 13th January,2016.
Date of Entrance Test: 20th January, 2016 at 11:00 am.
Date of declaration of Entrance Test Result : 27th January, 2016.
Date of Admission: 2nd February, 2016 at 11:00 am.
